These frozen mixed vegetables were specially selected and flash frozen, locking in fresh flavor and nutrients, to provide you and your family with high-quality frozen vegetables and whole grains. This Birds Eye frozen rice and veggies side has 18 grams of protein per serving and is made with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives for a delicious and convenient way to enjoy power bowls and frozen sides without compromise. Serve the steamed vegetables and rice as a frozen side dish along with your favorite grilled meat, or add them to grain bowls, pasta dishes and salads as part of a main dish. Easily prepare the frozen veggies by microwaving them in the bag for up to 6 minutes or by cooking on the stovetop for 9 to 14 minutes. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes before serving.       Cooked Black Beans (black Beans, Water), Water, Cooked Brown Rice (water, Brown Rice), Corn, Cooked White Quinoa (water, Quinoa), Red Bell Peppers, Tomato Paste, Contains Less Than 2% Of: Modified Corn Starch, Sugar, Salt, Ground Cumin, Serrano Pepper Puree, Ancho Chile, Garlic Powder, Cilantro, Lime Juice Concentrate, Apple Cider Vinegar, Onion Powder, Spice, Xanthan Gum, Locust Bean Gum.

      Directions

      Microwave Oven: Cook only one bag at a time. (1) Place frozen, unopened bag this side up, laying flat in microwave. Do not pierce bag. For microwaves with a metal rack, remove rack. (2) Microwave on high 5 to 6 minutes. During cooking, the bag will slowly inflate. A special vent in the bag will allow the steam to escape and a whistling sound may be heard. (3) Let stand 1 minute. Carefully handle bag at corners marked with the ovals and remove from microwave with two hands. Check that food is cooked thoroughly. Hold bag over serving dish. Tear bag at notch. Pour, stir and enjoy. Stovetop - Cook only one bag at a time. (1) Empty frozen contents of bag into a 2-quart nonstick sauce pan. Add 2 Tablespoons water. (2) Cook covered over medium heat for 9 to 12 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally. (3) Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir well and serve. For Food Safety and Quality: Keep frozen. Do not thaw. Microwave directions developed with 1100-watt microwave ovens. Appliances vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. Food must be cooked thoroughly to 165 degrees F. Read and follow these cooking directions. Caution! Food will be hot! Lay flat when microwaving.
